We look forward to a safe welcome back for all!

We look forward to a safe welcome back for all!

From principals and teachers to I.T. and Facilities we have worked hard over the summer holidays to ensure that The Portsmouth Academy is a safe place to learn for your child amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The safety of our students, staff and wider community continues to be our priority, and with this in mind your support is vital as we take our next steps in reducing the risk to all, and to make a successful return to the much-missed routine of classroom based learning.

Our plan sees all students in their own Year Group Bubbles so that contact with the wider school population is limited where possible, it also restricts movement of these bubbles around the school site. Safety is our top priority.

WE WILL;

  1. Work to Child First = Child Safe = Adult Safe
  2. Encourage constant hygiene with accessible hand sanitiser
  3. Instil a method of ‘Clean, Use, Clean’ for students between classes

It’s a strange time which has unified us and all members of our school community, so I would like to thank everyone again for their continued support.
