A message for our Year 7 parents and carers:

Year 7 Meet the Tutor Evening.

This event provides an opportunity for you to meet your child's form tutor, who will be supporting them throughout the academic year. It is also a chance to find out how your child has settled into Year 7, learn more about life at The Portsmouth Academy, and ask any questions you may have about the year ahead.

  • Session 1: 3:30pm to 4:15pm
  • Session 2: 4:15pm to 5:00pm

Allergy Awareness:

To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. Open Event 2024 at The Portsmouth Academy

You are invited to The Portsmouth Academy's open event this October. 

Year 6 pupils and their families are invited to join us for our Open Event on Wednesday 2nd October 2024, from 5pm to 8pm.

Our Executive Principal will be delivering a presentation at 6pm and another at 7pm. There will be opportunities to tour the school to explore our departments, speak to students and staff, and get a flavour of secondary school life at The Portsmouth Academy.

As a community, we are committed to transforming the life chances of our students, ensuring that all are supported and encouraged to have high aspirations and achieve their personal best.
