To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25

Mandy - School Crossing Patrol

November 5, 2024 01:35pm

Message for parents/stakeholders from Michelle Smith, Executive Principal

I am writing to let you know that Mandy, our School Crossing Patrol, affectionately known as our ‘Lollipop Lady’ on St Mary’s Road, is leaving her post after 43 and half years of dedicated service. Come wind, rain or shine, Mandy has been at her post to see our students across St Mary’s Road safely. I dare say that some of you will remember Mandy from your own school days.

We wish Mandy all the very best in her well-deserved retirement.

Please also be aware that that this crossing point will be vacant until Portsmouth City Council are able to recruit a replacement, and remind your children to use the pedestrian crossings in St Mary’s Road.

Thank you.
