A message for our Year 7 parents and carers:
Year 7 Meet the Tutor Evening.
This event provides an opportunity for you to meet your child's form tutor, who will be supporting them throughout the academic year. It is also a chance to find out how your child has settled into Year 7, learn more about life at The Portsmouth Academy, and ask any questions you may have about the year ahead.
Allergy Awareness:
To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25

Mountjoy, The Royal Navy and South Western Railway were just a few examples of employers present, who engaged with students as they rotated around different stands across two sessions.
Students had the opportunity to discover the vast range of apprenticeships available to them when they leave school, and how they can help kickstart their career.

Ms. Rahman, Careers and Enrichment Lead here at The Portsmouth Academy, was delighted to see so much engagement at the event.
“It’s fantastic to have so many students here today, finding out more about how apprenticeships can give them the skills and experience they need to succeed”, she said.
“The Apprenticeship Bus is a brilliant programme which helps our students realise university the only option when they leave school, and how an apprenticeship gives them a great platform to fulfil their aspirations”, Ms. Rahman.
