School leaders say this results day, which are a record high over the last three years, reflects the hard work shown by students and the support given by both staff and families.
The number of students achieving a strong pass of grade 5 or higher in English and maths increased by 5%. The overall number of top grades also increased this year, with grades at 7 or higher rising by 3% and grades at 4 and 5 or higher increasing by 2%.
In addition, the school saw particular success in subjects including history, biology, chemistry and dance, where more than 20% of students achieved a grade 7 or higher.
Alongside the school's overall success, many students have achieved exceptional individual results, including:

Nakia Azad, who achieved a grade 9 in all of her GCSEs and passed both Level 2 Further Maths and Level 3 Algebra.
Josh Reid, who achieved a grade 9 in eight subjects and a grade 8 in another. He also passed both Level 2 Further Maths and Level 3 Algebra.
Maya Kopeky, who achieved four grade 9s, two grade 8s, two grade 7s and a Level 2 Distinction.
Julia Fariq, who achieved two grade 9s, six grade 8s and a grade 7.
Collecting his GCSE results today, Josh Reid, said:
