Due to the extreme heat this week, Portsmouth has been issued with a red weather warning. The Portsmouth Academy is now closed for the remainder of Wednesday 24th June and on Thursday 25th June 2026. 

 

We look forward to welcoming our incoming Year 7 pupils to our Transition Day's on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June. 

Black History Month 2022

#WeAreOne: Celebrating Black History Month

The Thinking Schools Academy Trust comes together for our first #WeAreOne event of the academic year, by celebrating Black History and Culture. 

The theme for this year is Action not words. To get to a better tomorrow, we can’t just focus on the past. The past is in the past. We can acknowledge and learn from it, but to improve the future, we need action, not words.The theme is to unite everyone for a bigger purpose, demonstrating our support past the celebration of Black History Month.

We want to make a change that sticks.

Alongside the annual art competition, schools will each make a pledge towards an action to tackle discrimination and promote equality.
