To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25

Personal, Social and Health Education

Learning in P.S.H.E

PSHE is an invaluable part of The Portsmouth Academy curriculum. It is taught as a discrete lesson each week to develop the well being and life skills of our students. It is divided into categories of study: Relationships; Personal Identity & Healthy Living; Safety; Education & Finances; and Citizenship & Charity.

The PSHE programme is designed to cover a range of age-appropriate topics, which will prepare students for their future. Our aim is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to make the best of the opportunities available to them and live an independent and healthy life after leaving The Portsmouth Academy.

Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) is taught in tutor groups by tutors.
